Chances are that those looking for professional PDF editing, creation, and conversion capabilities will turn their eyes – and pockets – to Adobe Acrobat, thinking that no other PDF editor may provide them with the pro-looking results they need. iSkysoft PDF Editor is not as comprehensive and certainly not as pricey, and yet it does create, combine, edit, OCR, or convert PDF files in a more intuitive and Office-like way.
This excellent utility can open any PDF file for editing. “Any” here includes also scanned PDFs, which apparently have no text to edit. Its OCR support can read the text in the scanned PDF and turn it into pure editable text with a high level of accuracy. Adding, inserting, or changing text using this tool is just as simple and straightforward as it is when using Microsoft’s Word, for instance. This feature, simple as it may seem, is not that common in well-known professional and highly priced PDF editors, including Acrobat, and that is one of the things that makes this tool so rewarding. Inserting images, notes, watermarks, stamps, boxes, buttons, etc., is just as easy and gratifying.
And the same is true for more complex tasks, such as combining PDF files, creating new PDF files from an Office document or a combination of various Office files and types, or converting PDF files into PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and RTF documents. (Once registered, you will also be able to convert your PDF files into EPUB or HTML files in a snap.) Both the program’s looks and its functionality will remind you of an Office tool, and its high-quality results have nothing to envy to those produced by any Adobe product.
It may not come with all the functionality that you would find in Acrobat – the mother of all PDF editors and probably the one with the highest price –, but you may also be one of the many PDF users who do not need that much functionality anyway. If you happen to be one of them, my advice is that you give iSkysoft PDF editor a try – you will be surprised by its high level of intuitivity and its stunning usability.
You can create, edit, convert, merge, watermark, compress and sign PDF files.
